More about this vehicle

We are delighted to be able to offer to the market this stunning 1995 Range Rover 'Classic' Vogue SE 'Soft Dash', one of the last built and specifically number 1,950 before the last range rover classic which came off the production line and was driven Noel Edmunds on February 15th 1996. In total, 317.615 Range Rover Classic's were built throughout their 25 years of production.

Built at Land Rover on Lode Lane in Solihul in 1995 and registered on the 7th August of that same year to Land Rover themselves, on one of their factory suffix registration plates ending in KV denotes it would have been used either internally or as a demonstration/press vehicle. We are looking into the history further to see what we can find of its early days whilst in Land Rover's ownership.

We know the car has had 6 private owners and been in current ownership for 3 years, in which time it has been maintained regardless of cost by Land Rover specialists LPME Engineering in South Oxfordshire. There is a link to an online portal where images and details of works carried out with them can be found. This can be shared by request of a potential purchaser.

The specification of this vehicle is arguably the most iconic, green over tan. Specifically Ardennes Green over Sorrell Beige leather upholstery.

The owner has added some nice little subtle and tasteful touches which lift the interior quality somewhat and add some practicality. The owner sourced some aluminium internal door lock tabs which are genuine OEM Land Rover parts from a Defender. They also managed to source some Land Rover OEM cupholders which came from a later Land Rover Discovery for the US market which make using this car even more comfortable and effortless, actually having well designed and well located cupholders are very much needed and a great addition, especially as they look as though they came like that from the factory!

The owner has also upgraded the stereo with a more modern and tasteful Blaupunkt unit which delivers more modern day practicality in the form of DAB and Bluetooth etc whilst looking as though it was intended for the car in 1995.

All in all the current owner has spent close to £20,000 on this car over the years and safe to say it wants for nothing, but there are always things to do on a Land Rover.... There is a minor oil leak, giving you peace of mind that it does in fact have oil in it. A good indicator designed into them from Land Rover, but in all seriousness this has been inspected and is not a major issue just something to be aware of.

The seats also have some wear and we had intended on getting them repaired and are awaiting a slot with a couple of local leather specialists but they are so backlogged this may take a while, so we are advertising it as it is or if you can wait we may be able to sort the seats out for you.

All in all this is a very honest and well maintained car that has had plenty of work done to sort any troublesome rust, removed the also troublesome air suspension and replaced with coil springs which helps give a more direct and spirited ride as well.

The engine and gearbox work great and the car drives beautifully. There are a couple of interior trim pieces which we are sourcing to bring the car up to scratch but other than that it is ready to go.

We look forward to your call and showing you the car.
